I am currently a senior developer at Motek Medical. Motek Medical develops real-time motion analysis systems for rehabilitation, training and research.
These high-end motion analysis systems are based on many synchronized data sources such as force plates, motion capture, EMG and video. Platforms and treadmills are used in combination with virtual reality to create a challenging environment for the patient or trainee. I am primarily focussed on real-time gait analysis (GRAIL) and inverse kinematics.
In the past, I was a scientific employee at TNO Defence, Security and Safety where I worked on large-scale simulations. I also worked for four years at the Games and Virtual Worlds Group at Utrecht University as a PhD student in the field of computer animation.
